NWE WellReport™ · The platform
Most oil and gas software covers one slice of the job and hands the well off to the next tool. NWE WellReport is one application an operator can run for every well from beginning to the end — planning, directional drilling, surveys, MWD workflows, engineering & well control, completions, costs, reporting, and the end-of-well package, all running off a single survey record.
The well journey
Follow the well from the first plan to the as-built file — every module reads from the same survey ledger, one system for survey management across the whole well.
Why one platform
A well is one continuous job. Its software should be too.
The industry norm is a patchwork: one tool for the plan, another for drilling, separate calculators for engineering, new files for completions, and a spreadsheet holding the costs. Every handoff is a re-entry — and every re-entry is a chance for the plan, the surveys, the operation, and the report to drift apart.
NWE WellReport replaces the patchwork with one platform and one well record that moves with the job — and it respects the iron: we will never replace the equipment crews use. We bring the software, the logs, and the surveys around the work into one application.
One continuous journey
Each stage reads the well context the last stage built, adds its work, and hands a richer record forward. No stage starts over.

One well record · every disciplineWhere it stands
Built by a working directional driller.NWE WellReport is in founding field testing with working directional drillers ahead of its production release. Founding tester seats are open until October 25, and founding pilots are open now.
Honest about the roadmap.Surveys import from the exports of the systems crews already run; live EDR/WITS ingestion is a production direction and will not be claimed until a real feed is proven. Anti-collision is decision support only — the operator's approved program and official surveys remain authoritative.
Common questions
Oil and gas software covers the digital work of finding, drilling, completing, and producing hydrocarbons — well planning, drilling and survey management, engineering calculations, completions, production, and reporting. Most of it is sold in slices, one tool per discipline, which forces crews to re-enter the same well data at every handoff. NWE WellReport takes the other approach: one application for the entire well, where every discipline works from a single well record.
Both. NWE WellReport is oil & gas software built from the directional drilling workflow outward. The directional driller's daily work — surveys, steering, BHA records, morning reports — is the core, and the same single well record carries well planning, engineering, daily costs, completions, and the end-of-well package. Oil and gas teams run the whole well in it, not just the directional slice.
No. NWE WellReport will never replace the equipment crews use — it brings the software, logs, and surveys around the work into one application. Survey exports import from the system you already run, and that system stays your system of record until NWE WellReport has proven itself on your well.
Not today, and we say so plainly. Surveys import from file exports — including WITS file imports with accept/reject review in the Survey Editor. Live EDR/WITS ingestion is a production direction on the roadmap, and it will not be claimed until a real feed is proven.
Directional drilling companies first — the DD workflow is the beachhead and the daily proof. MWD crews feed surveys into the same ledger with their own module. And operators get one application that can run every well from beginning to the end, with every discipline's work in a single Master Well File.
